This is a new 122,000 square foot reinforced concrete structure that features 35 Luxury Residential Condominium units. The building consists of a full common basement and Ground Floor. At the second floor the buildings are split into two 10 story towers to the east and west of the Highline Park structure. The west tower will consist of eight (8) apartments including a duplex townhouse and duplex penthouse. The east tower will consist of twenty-seven (27) apartments varying from one, two and three bedroom apartments and two, penthouse apartments on the 9th and 10th floor. The ground floor will have apartments and two retail units with entrances on 10th avenue.
The buildings foundation work included sheet piles & tiebacks and full dewatering system with filtration system set-up. Foundations included the installation of Caisson plies imbedded into bedrock, and a 39” thick concrete Matt slab. The façade will have large crank and tilt windows and metal panels forming a unique shape allowing maximum light and air in the units. The interior finishes are ultra-luxurious containing a full Miele appliance package, fine Italian stones, rich Oak and Walnut plank flooring and architectural wood surrounds adjacent to the wood entrance doors for the condominium units. The project will have a work out facility, bike storage and unit owner’s storage in the basement.
